This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or buy BYON Pet, and how we use it.

What we collect

Information you provide at checkout (name, e-mail, phone, shipping address) and technical data such as pages visited, device, browser and campaign parameters (for example UTM tags). Payment details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.

How we use it

To process and deliver orders, provide support, honor the guarantee, prevent fraud and measure the performance of our pages and ads, including with the Meta Pixel.

Sharing

We share data with providers needed to run the store (checkout, payment, shipping and e-mail). We do not sell your personal information for money. Our sales page uses the Meta Pixel, which sends information about your visit to Meta Platforms, Inc. for ad measurement and advertising; see "California privacy rights" below for how to opt out.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (browser storage) to run the site and measure our ads:

• Campaign parameters (byon_attr, 30 days): UTM tags and ad click IDs (fbclid, gclid) from the link you arrived with, so they are kept as you move between our pages and go to checkout.
• Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc, 90 days): set by or for Meta to measure our ads. Not set if you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
• Your choices (byon_optout, 1 year; cookie notice dismissal): remember your opt-out and that you have seen the cookie notice.
• Video and offer: our page and video player remember whether you have already reached the offer, so it stays visible on your next visit.

You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, and you can opt out of marketing e-mails at any time, by writing to PENDENTE: e-mail de suporte.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"), gives you the rights below. This section supplements the rest of this policy.

Sharing for advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. However, the Meta Pixel on our sales page sends information about your visit (such as pages viewed, cookie and device identifiers, and actions like clicking to checkout) to Meta Platforms, Inc. to measure our ads and show you ads on other websites and apps. Under the CCPA this is "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and may also be considered a "sale". You have the right to opt out.

How to opt out. Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page: it records your choice on that browser, removes the Meta cookies set on this site (_fbp, _fbc) and our pages stop loading the Meta Pixel on that browser. Because the choice is saved in your browser, you will need to opt out again if you clear your cookies or use another browser or device.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal automatically. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser, and our pages do not load the Meta Pixel.

Know, delete and correct. You can ask us what personal information we have collected about you, and ask us to delete or correct it, by writing to PENDENTE: e-mail de suporte with the subject "California Privacy Request". We may ask for information such as your e-mail address and order number to verify your identity before acting on the request.

Non-discrimination. We will not deny you goods, charge you a different price or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
